Plain & pretty

One of this winters most innovative trends is all about minimalism. The combination of architectural contours and basic colors creates an unique less-is-more vibe that needs no frills. A lovely antithesis for all flowery and bright colored pieces, which is just what the powerwoman needs: back to stylish basic!

The new collections are here!

It is that exciting time of the year when the new collections arrive in the stores in big boxes. Curious of what material, shape and color the garment will have, we open this seasons boxes with lot’s of oh’s and ah’s. In all three departments (material, shape and color) the score is very high this season. Warm colors like purple, dark blue and yellow ochre are beautiful in autumn and winter. Classic and sophisticated especially combined with this seasons new womanly shape and rich materials. Please take a look at the new collections available at Welikefashion.com to make you smile even though you don’t want to think about wintertime yet!

Fashion Trend: Pastel Lady

I would love it if people took more time to get dressed in the morning. With this new ladylike trend we’ve seen on the runways (Louis Vuitton for example) this might be possible. For the silhouette take a good look at style icons from the 40’s and 50’s like Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe. Think pastels, embroidery and floating materials. Ad a great bag to your outfit and you are ready to go!

Well if we are all really honest, the Pussycat Dolls are not known for their great sense of style but this is too much! Really, Nicole is killing me with this “look”. Why, oh why didn’t somebody stop her?!

It is never fun, especially for celebrities, to wear the same dress. But what does it mean if you are wearing it a year later like Carmen Electra did…
