First to go is Abbey, a 29 year old florist from Dubai.

Bag: Marc Jacobs. Can’t leave without: My phone, customers call me all the time. Secret weapon: Rose scented hand cream.

Nice bag. Cheapy or designer? ‘It’s the real stuff! I had a very bad day and gave myself a treat….’ What do you think the weight of your bag is? ‘3 kilo? It’s not what’s in it, the bag itself is kind of heavy.’ Almost… it’s 2.7 kilos. ‘That’s 2 kilos of bag….’ Name one item from your bag you cannot the leave the house without: ‘My flower scissors!’ Any secret weapon you want to share with us? ‘Rose scented handcream. It’s god’s gift to women!’

V magazine went backstage at the Spring/Summer 2010 show of Alexander McQueen in Paris. The shoes were true showstoppers. McQueen gave the models a hard time walking the runway to show the collection. The shoes were high, had crazy alienated shapes with reptile prints all over them. But truth be told, they look fabulous coming down the runway.

Watch Kristin Cavallari, this girl has style. We saw here on Laguna Beach and The Hills of course, wearing casual elements mixed with high fashion. Her red carpet formula (here on the premiere from When in Rome) she’s equally successful. She looks stunning in this fuchsia dress with killer heels. Watch the pink element on the back. This is the ultimate proof you don’t have to wait till summer to wear candy colours!

These women are all wearing the same degrade jeans by Stella McCartney. Victoria Beckham is going for a classy look combining the jeans with a black blazer jacket and high heels (what else?!). Lilly Cole and Kate Walsh chose for a more romantic and relaxed look with a nude top.

‘The new capital of cool’, is what British daily paper The Guardian called Isreali capital Tel Aviv. They couldn’t be more right, the city is known for its fabulous nightlife and booming fashion scene. WLF strolled the streets on the hunt for Tel Aviv’s most stylish people!

Michaël, 29, is a real fashion victim. After finishing her fashion design studies in Paris she came back to Israel to design shoes and make clothing for theatre productions. The flea market is where she gets most of her clothes, she absolutely adores vintage. The cut up her pants to shorts, the scarf and top are from the flea market. Her sunglasses are handmade from Pucci which she bought during her time in Paris. Her favorite designers are Yves Saint Laurent and Vivienne Westwood.

Tali is a 24 year old fashion student and newly-wed! Everything she is wearing comes from the shop where she works, by Isreali designer Mirit Singer. She describes her style as being elegant but casual and varying depending on her mood.

Bibi van der Velden had the honor to close the 12th edition of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week on Sunday night with her accessories collection. She did it in style with a spectacular, futuristic light show. Topmodel Yfke Sturm was the show stopper wearing a steel armor. We’ve spotted front row: designers Monique van Heist, Jan Taminiau and Mart Visser, writer/artist Jan Cremer, Inge de Bruin, Terence Schreurs, Waldemar Torenstra and Sophie Hilbrand.

Claes Iversen surprised as one of the highlights at AIFW this time around. His collection was based on the feminine ’60s. We saw lots of ruffles and shiny crystal flowers. Clean cut designs with dominating colors bordeaux, gold, brown, different shades of grey and pink. Flower printed blouses combined with checked skirts. Beautiful mixture of thick winter garments mixed together with transparent layers. The spectacular ending was a bride gown made of price tags. Very hard to choose from the variety of beautiful designs for this report.

Although WLF already pre-ordered the SuperTrash collection, it was great watching the models wear the designs from a front row point-of-view. Olcay Gulsen tells a story with the new winter collection, especially created by power women for power women. Inspired by the most famous queen ever that ruled over an empire: Cleopatra. Ultra-tight, short dresses, high heels, glitzy leggings and comfy cardigans or leather jackets. Colors moved form black to brown, purple and gold to green and off-white. Silver studs, golden tinkles and long zippers made it look more tough, while big flower-prints added a touch of femininity. Yfke Sturm, Lieke van Lexmond, Tom Sebastian, Magali Gorré, Bridget Maasland and the designers’ boyfriend Edgar Davids sat front row, as well as Alexa Richards (model and daughter of Keith Richards) who came all the way from London.
