Let’s introduce myself first! I’m Rebecca, blogger and founder of the fashion blog Raspberry & Rouge, reporting to you from Amsterdam. I will be twisting and tweaking the “What’s in your bag?” item the coming few weeks, bringing you tips and tricks from all your favourite bloggers. Starting off with a brand new theme: the Festival Edition. Curious to see what these fashionable girls bring in their stylish bags when they go out to have fun? Stay tuned! First up is one of the Netherland’s most seen bloggers on events and parties: the gorgeous Debbie from Six Feet From The Edge. This 24-year-old student is easy to recognize by her crisp white hair and 1.80m length. After finishing her studies in Remedial Education, she has two main goals: finally moving to her beloved Amsterdam and finding a job in her field of interest. Fashion wise, she definitely hopes to keep blogging on a regular basis, since she loves to share her playful minimalistic style with the world and “Can’t get enough of watching others do the same.” Her looks are best described as simplistic, but always with a “subtle edge.”
Following her never ending quest for the perfect tee and obsession for (designer) shoes, makes us very curious to see what this leggy lady brings in her festival bag this summer!
What bag would you bring to your favourite festival?
“As long as it’s large and practical, it’s all right with me. So this time I went for my large suede shopper by a well known Dutch brand.”
Why do you like this bag?
“Because it’s large. And suede. And black. Need I say more?”
When did you get it, and where?
“I used to be the face of this particular brand – which is a clutch line – and we came up with a shopper as well. Debbie’s Shopper was born.”
What items will you never forget to bring with you?
“Sunglasses and my phone.”
On what events or festivals in 2012 will we catch you wearing this stunner?
“I think I have to skip a lot of events and festivals this summer, since my summer consists of thesis writing and.. more thesis writing.”
What will you pair this bag with, what would you wear?
“I always love an all black look, in both winter and summer! I particularly like the way different textures work with black, so I’d
love to wear this bag with my black lace skirt and a black top, as you can see on the images.”
When it comes to bags in general, what’s more important to you: design or designer? Why?
“Design. Because in my opinion a lot of designers make extremely ugly bags as well. But I have to admit: of course my heart skips a beat when I see an extremely well-made bag, made out of gorgeous, thick leather, no matter if it’s Alexander Wang or not.”
If you could chose one bag to bring with you anytime, anywhere, which one would it be?
“Definitely Celine’s Phantom or Luggage bag in black. Because it’s large and so pretty damn gorgeous! I started saving up for it, but now I have the money, I think a better way to spend it is to decorate our future home. Sigh…”

So what’s in Debbie’s bag?
Suede black bag // Converse shoes: “I’m the type of girl that starts a party wearing heels, and ends up on bare foot or flats.. Of course this depends on the type of party I’m going… I’d never wear heels on a muddy festival for instance.” // Small(er) camera: “Since my DSLR is a huge camera, yet I still want to capture some precious moments, I like to carry a smaller camera as well. Since I have an iPhone, I found out this works for me too. This one is an Olympus Penn, stole it from my bf.” // iPhone: “I can’t live without it!” // Wallet: Cowboysbag: “Plain, black leather perfection.” // Foldable Sunnies: “New in, but these foldable Rayban Wayfarers are already my favourites.” // Small pouch with some essentials: COS pouch, Garnier BB cream, Chanel Lipstick, Sephora powder //Hairbrush // “Usually I bring a bottle of water with me too, yet I forgot to photograph it!”
