Let’s introduce myself first! I’m Rebecca, blogger and founder of the fashion blog Raspberry & Rouge, reporting to you from Amsterdam. I will be twisting and tweaking the “What’s in your bag?” item the coming few weeks, bringing you tips and tricks from all your favourite bloggers. Next up is busy bee Jony from SHOUT-OUT to you! A 24 year-old fashion blogger, PR consultant, showroom manager and co – designer for a Dutch shoe label. She discovered her passion for fashion on a young age, dressing up Barbie dolls, and is using her blog as a platform to share her ideas, inspiration and personal taste with the online world. Depending on her mood, she always tends to opt for feminine clothing with an edgy touch. Addicted to TV series, she also loves to cook, often visits thrift stores and owns a huge nail polish collection. Let’s see if the content of her festival bag is as versatile as she is!

What bag would you bring to your favourite festival?

“I would bring a shoulder bag that is not too small and not too big. This one is the perfect size. Big enough to carry all my festival essentials. But not too big because when it’s crowded you don’t want your bag to be in your way.”

Why do you like this bag?

“Because it’s not too small and not too big. And the silver color is amazing!”

When did you get it, and where?

“I got it as a present for my blog last year, but it’s still one of my favorite bags.”

What items will you never forget to bring with you?

“Absolutely my phone, sunglasses, deodorant and lipstick!”

On which events or festivals in 2012 will we catch you wearing this beauty?

“Unfortunately as it looks like right now not much… due to the prices of the tickets. But hopefully I will attend the ‘Vierdaagsefeesten’ in Nijmegen (my birthtown) though.”

What will you pair this bag with, what would you wear?

“For a festival I would wear this bag with denim shorts, sheer blouse, Converse all stars and colorful bracelets. Of course when the weather cooperates. If not I would change the denim shorts for my striped jeans and wear a leather jacket.”

When it comes to bags in general, what’s more important to you: design or designer? Why?

“Definitely design! Because I carry my bag day and night and therefore the design is important for me. For example the closure, because I’m carrying my camera, mobile phone, wallet most of the time and don’t want those to get lost or stolen. Yes I’m a careful girl! “

If you could chose one bag to bring with you anytime, anywhere, which one would it be?

“I really love the Proenza Schouler PS1 bags a lot, would love to own it in the color black one day. In my opinion that’s the perfect black leather bag!”
