Hi there! For those of you tuning in for the first time: I’m Rebecca, blogger at Raspberry & Rouge, reporting to you from Amsterdam. I’ve been twisting and tweaking the ‘What’s in your bag?’ item the past few weeks, continuing with the Travel Edition. Summer seems quite far away here in northern Europe, so everyone’s escaping their rainy countries and exchanging them for more summery
destinations. Curious where your favourite bloggers are spending their holidays? Would you like to know what they bring? With a background and possibly a future in fashion, this weeks’ appearance Chloe stays true to the title of her blog: Fashionista Chloe. This super motivated 23-year-old from Nijmegen hopes to continue doing exactly this for the coming few years, preferably from Amsterdam. Her style is best described as feminine, brightened up with fierce red lips. Cute fact: as a child she modelled for Elle. Curious yet?
What’s your dream destination?
“My dream destination is The Maldives, I really like the beach, the sea and the beautiful weather. I have never been to The Maldives, but when I see pictures of the beautiful blue sea and the white beaches, I really want to be there!”
What bag will you bring with you to your holiday destination by preference: big suitcase or hand
luggage only?
“It depends on the destination. For a city trip I would choose for hand luggage only, but for a two weeks away I opt for a big suitcase. However, everywhere I go I have to take my camera and laptop with me to keep my blog up to date! That’s why I’m not always able to bring hand luggage only…”
Where will you take your suitcase this summer?
“I already went to Berlin, for fashion week and the trade show Bread and Butter. I will also go to the South of France, St. Maxime, with two good friends at the end of August.”
What are your travel essentials, things you will never forget to take with you?
“My travel essentials are my camera, smartphone, beauty case, laptop, little black dress and high heels.”
Packing for a trip can be challenging. Any tips or tricks you can share?
“Recently, I started making sets of different clothes for every day, so I keep it organized. In the past I didn’t do this, which meant chaos!”
When it comes to bags in general, what’s more important to you: design or designer?
“Design! Real leather is the most important to me. An other important thing is what the bag looks like and If I can combine it with my wardrobe.”
If you could chose one bag to bring with you anytime, anywhere, which one would it be?
“Definitely my new black shopper which I bought at Coming Soon in Arnhem a few months ago. This bag suits every location and every outfit. I already brought it to Berlin and got many compliments!”
